We've seen it all along

A blind eye we've turned with a silent song

All support is crumbling below

Along with our accord yet no one wants to know

The ever-weakening will to survive

Is bartered for more comfortable lives

We're addicted to the cause without seeing the effect

While boasting of subjugated self respect

We've picked the wrong fruit beyond all doubt

Dillusionally ungrateful we struggle to remain devout

Selfish is our impression, invisible is our mark

Yet we're terrified of the journey on which we'll never embark

We've felt it all along

The sinking feeling that this is wrong

It's everybody's line to tow

And one step behind is hell to go

Alone in our cells forever confined

Enslaved to the persuits of the most wanton minds

Now calloused to the needs to which we're committed

Denying our livelyhood; mankind is restricted
