This line is a play on Drake’s music video for “Over”. It was thought by many to be a referencing Drake’s track “Hate Sleeping Alone”, but in actuality that track wasn’t released until more than a year after this track.

Lupe’s debut single “Kick, Push” was a story that followed a kid, possibly Lupe himself, and his love for skateboarding throughout his life – with his journey to become a great skateboarder littered with challenges and struggles. Some took the track to be a metaphor for everyday life and the obstacles that come with it, believing that the message wasn’t Lupe claiming to be a skateboarder but rather him acknowledging the struggle of day-to-day life.
In an interview following this tracks release, Hopsin stated light heartedly “It was all just to be funny. He’s not a sell-out, and I’ve never had any bad feelings against any of his rhymes. I just said it to be funny – I know he’s not a skateboarder so I just felt like saying it”. He went on to say “I didn’t diss Lupe’s rapping skills, I was just [talking] about his skating skills: he sucks – but he’s cool though, I like what he represents, outside of skateboarding”.
Jarren Benton (Hopsin’ friend and label mate) stated during an interview that when his Funk Volume manager met Lupe and acknowledged his association with Hopsin, Lupe replied “Fuck Hopsin”.
Note: Lupe actually can skateboard, as much as him not skating for Kick Push’s music video may have led you to believe otherwise. On March 29, 2012 he posted an hour long video of him skating titled “No Sleep Til Heelflip”.
Hopsin is saying the mainstream rappers without talent (Lil Wayne, Drake, etc…) are just Illuminati products i.e. made famous by the government to rap about nothing, leaving the population stupid and ignorant. Hopsin raps about this great conspiracy of his in a very ironic way.

Tomica totally screwed Hopsin over when he signed the contract and sealed the deal. He had his album, Gazing At the Moonlight, ready and finshed, but she kept pushing the date back and refused to promote it.
He pokes fun at Lil Wayne’s awkward rapping style and the way he whines (talks) on tracks. He doesn’t know how he became so famous.
He is also eluding to the fact that Wayne doesn’t rap about anything that is actually relevant or important. He raps about what keeps him on the radio and off Hopsin’s iPod; Money, sex, violence, drugs and more money.
It could be argued that real hip hop artists arent in it for the money, they’re in it for the message. He’s tired of Wayne saying how amazing he is when in fact, he’s pretty average. Hell, there are people who have been in the game less than half the time Wayne has and they are already better than him.

Hopsin is poking fun at other rappers' constant lyrics about smoking weed. He is being sarcastic by ordering you to “take a puff from the bong.”
When someone “turns in his grave”, he would be very angry about something if he were alive and knew what was going on.
Ferris wheels continue to turn, which would translate into Eazy being super pissed if he was alive.
A “baton” is a hollow cylinder passed from runner to runner in a relay race. Hopsin is running faster than you, so give up the baton to him.
When Hopsin says give up the baton, he’s making a reference for others rappers to pass the torch to him because he intends to excel in the new generation of rappers.
A “glory hole” is a hole though the wall (of a bathroom) used for getting anonymous blow jobs. Soulja Boy can suck his dick through it instead of through the phone.
Eric (Eazy E) Wright owned 80% of the record company known as Ruthless Records. Eazy did a great job with his record company, things were booming. Then, he passed away and his wife Tomica inherited the company. Things have been downhill ever since.
This is also a diss to Ruthless Records, in which Hopsin was part of until he created his own label Funk Volume.
To be “hard” in rap is to be “tough”. All these sissies in rap claim to be tough when they’re not. At all. The only way their names can be represented as “hard” is on a tombstone (because it is made of stone).
It also seems like Hopsin is a WWF/WWE fan. He puts the words “pedigree” and “tombstone” in the same line. This may be a reference to the finishing moves of Triple H and The Undertaker, respectively.
