Two Roads

I told the world I believe in the Father

And the son who rolled the stone

When I first drank that holy water

I felt the fire warm my bones

Now lost in the wilderness I wander

I've come to a fork in the road

Things aren't as clear as I go farther

The path easy like I was told

Two roads I see one broad one narrow

Looking down both sides but I'm wasting time

My heart is torn both roads are worn

But even in my strife I know which leads to life

I waited three days and met a man in the dark

He said the road to life is sure to be hard

I've seen many stray and lose their course

Don't matter who starts but who endures

Two roads I see one broad one narrow

Looking down both sides but I'm wasting time

My heart is torn both roads are worn

But even in my strife I know which leads to life

He who calls Jesus his friend

Is he who endures to the end

He who calls Jesus his friend

Is he who endures to the end

He who calls Jesus his friend

Is he who endures to the end

Two roads I see one broad one narrow

Looking down both sides now I've made up my mind

My heart is torn both roads are worn

But even in my strife I know which leads to life

Even in my strife I know which leads to life
