I woke up on Sunday with a feeling in my chest

Monday morning it grew twice the size in stress

Call me crazy but I've never lost my mind

So how did I become a victim to the grind

This burden ain't worth it

I'm hurting all because I'm working

I'm searching for better road to life

I've had it my habits

Pull me down like a bitter addict

Jesus I'm tired of putting up a fight

When your burden's light

I woke up on Sunday with the stress that never left

But I'll praise God for all the reasons I am blessed

My circumstances never changed but my heart did

The day my worries left is when I let you in

This burden ain't worth it

I'm hurting all because I'm working

I'm searching for better road to life

I've had it my habits

Pull me down like a bitter addict

Jesus I'm tired of putting up a fight

When your burden's light

Come to me all you weary and you heavy laden

And I will always give you rest

For I am meek and I took your every sin and burden

I have since relieved your stress (I have since relieved your stress)

This burden ain't worth it

I'm hurting all because I'm working

I'm searching for better road to life

I've had it my habits

Pull me down like a bitter addict

Jesus I'm tired of putting up a fight

My brains just too anxious

I'll cast my cares upon you Jesus

I've tried the world but your word is right

Broke my back with filthy rags

Lord thank you for your easy backpack

There's rest from all the hurtin' in this life

Jesus I'm tired of putting up a fight

When your burden's light

Your burden's light
