Pool balls crack’n loud

As Jimmy chalks up his que

The old man in the corner his gin blossoms

Tell better stories than he do

The runaway princess she’s trollin’ for favors

Hoping that she’ll find a bed

Jill’s crashing hard tonight

Vodka mixing with her meds

All the drug dealers got carney gazes, the lonesome bachlors’ they got ‘em too

As they drown all of their past loves, while trying to lubricate up the new

Put a quarter in the juke box

That cracklin’ music recycling bin

Play a song we’ve heard a million times

As the walls hеre start to spin

Mickey’s eyеing a gal’s drink

Like he wants to drop in a Finn

Workers slammin’ back shots

They go down like original sin

Nobody here has ever been accused of, of being proper

The aria never changes, in this dirty Dive Bar Opera

Killin’ time, killin’ hope, killin’ dreams

Killin’ brain cells all night long

Neon beer signs are their sunrise

And this is the only place they call home

They’re just angels rollin’ bones

Too pissed-off to be depressed

Except for our honky tonk diva

Lord she can hardly keep herself dressed

Closin’ time comes too early, as they shuffle on out the door

Weavin’ down the highway until tomorrow, when they come back for more
