A play on the word “jerk”
The first is him referring to his crew/gang, he jokingly calls them jerks. This could also be interpretted as his own movement – jerking would be moving very suddenly, as to get away from cops and other things of that nature.
“A five-speed” refers to a *five speed manual transmission. In these manual transmission cars, it takes a jerk of the hand to switch gears.
Spoken Word is vocal presentation that is usually used for poems and other such literary art forms. The presentation will normally be prerformed in a very emotional, and loud format.
Simpson, himself, has a very deep and gritty voice, so his vocal presence can resemble that of a spoken word exhibition.
Simpson also does all this while he’s smoking his weed. For many, the weed would severely hinder their vocal performance, but Simpson’s stays unchanged, showing the true intimidating factor of his voice that scares his opponents.
Guilty compares himself to a skillet for the way he cooks up (starts) beef with others.
He has so much beef with others, it’s as if it’s literally stacking up, like when you’re done cooking the meat.
A Green Card is a document that grants permanent residence to a country. Guilty is stating that he doesn’t relate to what the wack MC’s are saying with their terrible lines, it’s as if it’s a foreign language to him.
The crossing paths portion could be referring to the US Immigration Problem of the 2000’s, when The US, in which tensions between Mexico and he US rose because too many Mexicans were entering the country. Meaning Guilty doesn’t ever want to see the wack MC’s enter his area, or genre again.
