Thunder echoes across the sky

The ground shakes, buildings crumble

Like the stars falling down

Darkened air on the Earth

Blood red is the moon

The time has come to mourn for those

Who are gone, there is sorrow

As bodies lay scattered across the field

Silence in heaven for a moment

As the wind blows no more

Electrical interference, radiation, nuclear weapons

Mankind is doomed when he declares war on himself

Meteors, asteroid fields, gamma rays and solar bursts

We rethink our existence when a greater power interferes

Wrath of God or our demise, electric storm from the sky

You cannot run or hide, it will take you by surprise

We had lots, we gave little

Now we have nothing, we give it all

As we rebuild our fallen world

Glimmer of hope as the dust

Settles down on the ground
