Where did the time go? Where have the years gone?

Where'd all my friends go? Feel like a phantom

Everyone I know are just some faces in my phone

I used to call them 'til I realized that I'm better off alone

I don't belong with anybody feels like I'm from outer space

The older that I get the harder it is relate

We go our separate ways and rarely know it at at thе time

Upon rewind I wish I'd found a bettеr way to say goodbye

Exit out the side door hope I don't get seen

Shoulda said farewell but I'm too scared to make a scene

Guilty that I didn't wanna stick around the scene

Now their final memory of me is one I'll never see

If I were to die who would even care?

Who would give me flowers and what stories might they share?

Who would play my music and promote me everywhere?

Show me love if I was gone but just ignore me if I was there?

Three eight nine seven four seven one

If you know the area code and need a friend hit me up

No front same number since late sixth grade

Regardless if I'm famous that will not change

Some ways I'm really just the same old me

Stupid optimistic grandiose when I dream

Loyalty on my sleeve 'til you rip my trust apart

Then I forgive you 'til you do it once again then I depart

I love without condition and I care unto a fault

Stubborn I'll admit it I'm imperfect aren't we all?

I've learned to see my flaws and do my best to make them change

And so the man I am tomorrow ain't the same as yesterday

Contradict the notion that I have to stay the same

Evolution is a natural part of life so turn the page

At the end of the day, this is only the beginning

Even when our stories finished this earth keeps spinning

This is only the beginning

Even when our stories finished this earth keeps spinning
