[Verse 1]

Everybody's very scared of drowning but i'm also scared of swimming

Anybody on who i've been counting, got away if they were winning

And i got so much to deal with, trust me it's not a lil bit

You see the sadness in me but can you still see Philip

Real shit, lately i've thinking that i could never kill it

I'm destined to live on a path that i will hate and i feel it

I woke up in a nightmare, right here, where i couldn't fight fear

Same place, different time, distance felt like there been a lightyear

I've been stepped on and avoid like i was just some dog shit

Asking when will the fog split? They say doves dodge the frog spit

But they still aiming though, life showed me mother's crying

Brother's dying, fathers praying, we've been going back with leaps of giant

Lovers are lying, birds are scared of flying

Dreaming feels better than trying, but we all looking for triumph

The water's rising, the word horizon has lost his meaning

Tell me how to be an angel when you're surrounded by demons

[Verse 2]

Everybody's very scared of drowning but i'm also scared of swimming

Anybody on who i've been counting, got away if they were winning

I tried to stick with the homies and if i can, show them love

Our stories go beyond the money, and i remember how it was

Struggling, hustling, still looking for that fast money, cash money

Living in this world is being treated like you're another crash dummy

If you go away you might get shot and if you stay home, well you might not

Try to stay up when the bodies drop and to keep up when nobodies stop

Good luck to live like this, in a world where you might just

Follow rather than rises or leave now and be lifeless

Fuck man now it's a crisis don't forget life is priceless

So just try to act righteous and you may find surprises

I won't turn back after i walked all of this distance

In case you missed it, you stay persistent for your existence

I'm just trying to leave a mark, i'm not tryin' to be heroic

Just to be one of the million others street poet
