Harmony can be used to describe relationships between just about anything - forms, colours, notes, lives. It is subjective yet universal; mathematical and irrational; tangible and abstract. By nature it is contradictory - a shadow of the divine

Closing eyes, tension lifting from my chest

Only silence left

Closing mind, clouds are merging with the sky

Breathing

Duality now dissolved

Patterns begin to flow

A language unreadable

A burden is soothed

And all mass removed

I come humbly with thanks on my tongue

I am grateful for all

For sight and sound, the touch of skin, the love of those my heart holds keen

And for all the opportunities that I still manage to waste

But now I ask, based on belief

Not for my own but others’ relief

I leave humbled, with praise on my tongue

I am grateful for all

For love and acceptance, for friendship and romance

For all your heavenly harmonies that we still manage to break

The source of all the beauty, of grace and mercy

Calling all to prosper in the light

[instrumental]

(Take your time, heal the blind

Take away our crime)

I pray for peace, I pray for honesty

I pray for love, I pray for harmony

I pray for hope, I pray for patient hearts

Can we honour our enemies with undeserved righteousness

Can we hope for God

Can we truly appreciate and cherish our reality

Breaching our earthly divides

Give don't take

Love don't hate

Stray from darkness into light
