I started taking pictures on my phone again

And I started sinking my elbows are already in deep

While you're lying there over a Skype phone call asleep

And I'll wonder if your dreaming about our names

On invitations or on a mailbox

And though I've been dreaming about lakes

There never was so much space

I started thinking about how I'm your oldest friend

And I started drinking though I promised I never would again

And now smoke fills my lungs every three or four days

And instead of dreaming about a house, I'm there lying all awake

And though I've been looking for a place

I'm wondering if you need a little more space

So I started taking pictures of us again

With screenshots, laptops, your Verizon cell phone plan

And I'll cut out my bad habits if it means you'll stay here with me

Like my lying and my drinking and self destructive tendencies

So I started taking pictures on a cellphone screen

And you started waking telling me about all your dream

And I'm so glad we started talking again

Have I told you lately, you're my oldest friend

So I started taking pictures on a cellphone screen

And you started waking telling me about all your dream
