Never Coming Down

Oh sometimes it seems

Like it's all just a dream

'Cause my feet have left the ground

But this time around

I'll fly up to the sun and steal his crown

I don't think that I'm ever coming down

It can be hard to shake

The feeling of being awake

I threw myself down a well

Well, down the well I fell

Feels like more than a week I've been falling now

Starting to think that I'm never coming down

Sometimes it seems like it's all just a dream

Time's moving backwards and you're caught in the stream

But it's hard to navigate that state, somewherе between the dream and widе awake

Through the confusion as illusions break

And it goes

One toke for the sofa

Two tokes for the floor

Three tokes in, all the walls are joking

Should I really go for four

A sip of tea for the hatter

Two sips and your gone

I guess a third sip won't matter

You won't be back for long

But just relax

It's not supposed to make any sense

Just sit back

And rest in the present tense

Oh but could it be reality that is sweeping me under the rug?

That those winter nights on Kafka-highs are turning me into a bug

Hey, I'm confused

But there's nothing to do about that now

I'll get used

And get my feet on the ground somehow

Someday I will lie on the ground and pluck down all the stars with my toes

And when I pluck them all down, I'll put my head in the ground and act surprised at the way the wind blows
