Don’t be so cold

When you know what I’ve been through

Find me when I’m old

So I can show you what I was looking for

Don’t know what I’m searching for or where I’m gonna go next

But in the meantime I’ll erase the thought of give up like this

You’ve been wasting time and you’ve been lying to yourself

All this bad behavior ain’t doing nothing good for your health

So I’ll stay on my many separate paths to the life I wanna live

Many options but I can’t seem to decide on one instead

When you finally understand what’s going on inside of me

You can learn to appreciate of how much it’s a sight to see, yeah

Oh, you will know

Why I’m always looking for something more

So find me when I’m old

So you can see what I’ve been waiting for

Called it once my home, but now I’ve gone on to do better things

You’ve called it quits before, but that’s not how it’s gonna be

I’ll take the heart and the time to figure out what’s truly mine

You can ask me if I’m blind, you know that I’ve seen better times

I’m the final opposition, no one wants to know it

I know others have impossible dreams they won’t admit

I count the times that you’ve come to apologize to me

I’ll always laugh at the sight of it, another day, you will see

Don’t be so cold

When you know what I’ve been through

Find me when I’m old

So I can show you what I was looking for
