Consolatory babble of another's bereavement, erupting sinuous, ringing in my ears
Unknowing, abundantly flowing, a tumult that calls for stillness
Cacophonous downpour drenches the fathomless within, reflecting with a sheen capable of eliminating all that is illuminated around me
I stick out my hand to feel the breeze upon my wet skin
I tilt back my head, to feel the splash of the stream, pouring from the eave above
No matter how far I walk
It trails close behind
Leaving a path for all to find
A variation of myself
Steeping discorporated
Drifting off, into a dripping mess of tepidity
