Friends have asked me how I'm faring

Plans derailed, but quite okay

Though I'm used to people staring

Am I feeling grey?

Time and time I ask the question

Will we slow down someday soon?

Though I'm used to kind rejection

I feel out of tune...

From having been lost and long led astray

I ran away without a word to say

A ticket in hand with no kind of plan

We're going somewhere I'll understand...

The bitter taste of my defeats

Sinking deep and contorting my brain

My dreams, although appearing sweet

Will leave me late, so exhausted, and drainеd

Forever lost among the streets

Thosе simple spirits fade and wane

I'm looking for my missing seat

While stumbling through the Argo Train

Wondering is such a new sensation

It's as youthful as a peach

Yet when faced with answered questions

Thoughts feel out of reach...

Like a bell without a clapper

I'm as quiet as can be

But my baggage seems to clatter

When I'm feeling mean

(Unkind like some

Is this freedom?)

From having been lost and long led astray

I ran away without a word to say

With no kind of plan, I'm getting out of hand

My mind is somewhere I don't understand...

The bitter taste of my defeats

Sinking deep and distorting my brain

My dreams, remaining incomplete

Have left me late, so exhausted, and drained

Feeling lost and obsolete

With no one else but myself to blame

I've finally found my missing seat

Right at the end of the Argo Train

But something doesn't feel the same…
