Last night I dreamt of staring at a wall

Been feeling pretty nauseous of late

I was sat there for at least an hour before my muscles went

My head fell forward, smashed my skull against it

My eyes curdled to milk all my teeth fell out

Childhood discomforts, no doubt no doubt

Maybe we're being pulled around by magnets

Maybe we should just slip into the tar

The angels are silent

They’re in heaven

Where everything is fine

I heard about a man who tried to take the sea

Flat calm and gently crashing

And put it all in tupperware containers

To be studied and understood

The seagulls, the seagulls the seagulls all laughed at him

Maybe they know something I don't, thought the man

When I have finished boxing up all this salt water

Then I will know for sure

The angels are silent

They are in heaven

Where everything is fine

I want to make great art and be understood!

I want to take my organs and smear them all up on the mirror

This game of gods and masters, brutalise them all

I need them so bad to hold onto

But I can't shake off the scars

This is not a suicide note I hope

This is not a suicide note I pray

This is not a ssss

The angels are silent

They are in heaven

Where everything

Is

Fine
