Roads cracked like lifeless moth wings or dried blood

A circumstance of happening

The spring came and went

Filled its oceans then drained them again

The wind cannot carry everyone and I keep it beneath me

When tomorrow comes we will see its yellow hues and know that its just the same as today

Roads cracked like lifeless moth wings or dried blood

A circumstance of happening

The spring came and went

Filled its oceans then drained them again

The fall saw leaves drop from their trees

Ceiling fans

And their own families

They carry themselves on a frail breeze

And all it ever does is worry me

We will know that change doesn't come if you're riding on the same old air that has carried you there for years and years and years
