You don't know me, in fact you know nothing at all

You don't even hear me when I call

I am too late, too far, I fall

You don't even answer when I call

I been to the depths of hell, it was a hot draught

There was nothing there for me so I walked out

The devil said I couldn't leave, but he talked doubt

So here I am on the surface, what now?

Shot down, I'm a target for the hatred

A martyr in the basement. I'm looking at myself

The mirror is unforgiving, it's no wonder living

Is a struggle in this prison. I'm stuck inside my cells

I don't wanna wear this mask anymore

I'm too complacent with this face, I want it cast to the floor

So I can watch it shatter with a crash. I'm bored

With these distractions, all I ask is more

I am shackled to a want and need for change

That leaves this perfectionist constantly in pain

So everything I do, to me, is obviously strained

Poetic justice served. Fallen be the name

You don't know me in fact you know nothing at all

You don't even hear me when I call

I am too late, too far, I fall

You don't even answer when I call

It would seem the universe is playing jokes again

A wicked back and forth where no one is supposed to win

I'm just another sucker focused on the moments when

I feel like I could fly until the world just goes and mozies in

What the hell is this, why am I the fella with

A dream that's unachievable and nowhere else to build this ship

A rocket into space

It's like with every step ahead I get, I'm falling on my face

Take a step, turn around, take another step, repeat

The circles that I'm turning here are sure to get me off my feet

Right? I mean. There has got to be

A way to make some progress if you just believe in what you dream

Right? Tell me that its possible

I know it isn't probable, or even very logical

But see I'm in a spot where all this dreaming's only haunting

While I'm speaking on it honestly, I fear that I am falling, oh

You don't know me in fact you know nothing at all

You don't even hear me when I call

I am too late, too far, I fall

You don't even answer when I call

I lay here

Belly up on the ground

Staring up at the sound

Everyone gather round

There's a pool now

Red filling up the cool ground

And with every move, down

My spine is a cruel pound

Was it my fault?

Did the sky fall?

Broken wings and stolen things

I think it's time to shoulder this

You don't know me in fact you know nothing at all

You don't even hear me when I call

I am too late, too far, I fall

You don't even answer when I call
