{Verse 1}

There's a spider in my shoe

But I think today I'll leave it

Quite the mess up in my room

I'll pretend that I don't see it

Oh, today, I'm gonna learn to forgive

Well, I've got plenty work to do

But my guitar, well, it just calls me

Didn't leave my bed 'til noon

What if my walls got all lonely

Oh, today, I'm allowed to just live

Woke up to bad news, looked in the mirror

And I'm my favorite shade of blue

My mom says I grew

But I feel as little as that spider in my shoe

And what if I lose?

If I fold because I bet it all on you?

Don't think I'll evеr think I'm worthy

Hope the world will show me mеrcy

Like I did for the spider, that spider in my shoe

So I've been wrapped up in this mood

But I've always been a hugger

Give my thank you's to the moon

'Cause she listens like no other

Oh, today, it's okay to know peace

And when my brain falls out of tune

I will hum this to feel better

I am thankful for my hues

What's life without some color?

Oh, today, I'm just grateful to be

I'll wake up brand new

But each days like eternal deja vu

And I just can't move

Stuck in my webwith pretty little almost truths

And how do I choose?

Eight eyes means like eight different points of view

Don't think I'll ever think I'm ready

Hope the universe accepts me

Like I did with the spider, that spider in my

Spider in my shoe knows what I'm going through

It just needed a home

Who am I to refuse?

Scared of how it crawls

Probably scared of me too

I've been feeling quite small

Probably thinks that I'm huge

Scared of my own shoe

Scared of what I might do

Please don't worry my mom

I'll be better by June

Spider in my shoe

Never made sense to you

It never made sense to you
