Stop Wasting My Time

What is the point with all the games

We sat to talk all night and yet its still the same

You can't decide if you want Solitude or fame

Yes you were kind when you were mine

And I was blind

Just give me a sign

Stop wasting my time

The flickering light on the streets at night

Seems to be contemplating if we were right

And we both know there's no need to fight

We just stare outside the window during the drive

I've been like that and never changed

Im not strong I got used to hiding pain

So we fall down like rain but we still the same

Just an old vessel traversing a different terrain

I'm all drained like my phone

0 percent my heartbeats the metronome

And yours beat a different tempo

Your hearts all way round the world like a different time zone

The wind hits skin

Evaporating morning dew and yesterday's gin

Yet the airs thin

Let's roll with it with a different spin

What is the point with all the games

We sat to talk all night and yet still the same

You can't decide if you want Solitude or fame

Yes you were kind when you were mine

And I was blind

Just give me a sign

Stop wasting my time

In the land where the whole world doubts

Against the odds but I'm the odd one out

Break even but no one shouts

So many choices but can't hold one down

Feels good in a dream

But reality is sweeter than the means

Yes I'm tempted by the ignorance it seems

Hands in the dirt I wanna come clean

The traveler's fly right over head

Head over heels for the skin you shed

To hell with the ones you never met

I'm so focused on my existential dread

I said

Things aren't the way it was before

Should've known what's in store

Wiping off the dust from the floor

I'm giving time for you no more

What is the point with all the games

We sat to talk all night and yet its still the same

You can't decide if you want solitude or fame

Yes you were kind when you were mine

And I was blind

Just give me a sign

Stop wasting my time
