You know I've lived in Virginia for a very long time

And a lot things didn't go the way I expected them to go

I lost a lot of friends and family

Did a lot of things I'm not proud of

And some I am very proud of

Which shaped me to be the man I am today

So I'm grateful for that

And you know no matter what I say

Or how I feel about Virginia

It's still home
