The cars pass by

I hear them out my window

It rained this morning

I am the hissing pavement

I lay flat outside

I am the blinding headlights

Cars pass by

Out my window

My body is an engine

An oiled machine

Rusted over with time

Each movement takes time

I'm supposed to be in my prime

But it does the taking

And i'm not for making beautiful movements

I'm still

I'm still inside
