Well I’ve worn out all my teenage clothes

But about half as much as my old heart

Never minding riddles to the secrets still enclosed

And I’m giving up on jigsaw smarts

These days my twiddled thumbs sit silent In the comfort of my lap

It seems my soaring days are over And my new ones best at that

But I ain’t quite finished just yet I got some fight still left in me

These brittle bones still gnashing teeth

All my shoes like dust

My soul is still trudging

This house has turned all to rust

And it’s vacant and cold

If this wanderlust

Keeps catching on fire

We’re bound to take with the gust

Hang on once more

Fellowship has faded and the introvert has won

Forming alliances in the mirror

Second guess second guess what have I just done

Pay no heed to facing my fears

I’ve thrown out every single sentiment that bridged my futures past

My passions packed away beneath this bloody mary glass

The shadows of my childhood get longer every year

When will I disappear

All my shoes like dust My soul is still trudging

This house has turned all to rust And it’s vacant and cold

If this wanderlust Keeps catching on fire

We’re bound to take with the gust

We’re bound to do what we must

Hold on

When will we disappear

When will we disappear
