As I walk (forward) I feel my feet won't follow

As I laugh out loud I hear my voice in the distance

There's something I cannot explain

Like a tickle in my brain

It gets stronger when I'm not completely awake

When the guards at my doors fail

For once I will say no, for a change

And wait until my world gets better

Today I will say no for a change (For once, I'll say no.)

I have learned to strike my words and be realistic

As I was taught to censor my doubts and stay vigil

But there's something I cannot explain

Like a tickle in my brain

Like a gentle force pushing mе where I wouldn't dare

It gеts stronger when I'm not completely awake

When the guards at my doors fail

Now it's time to listen, time to get awake

Whis time I will say no for a change

(For once, I'll say no.)

And wait until my world gets better

Until I feel like saying yes again

All that is gone, is gone

There will be more of it, if I will catch it

Don't play bold with me

You know I won't compete

As I just want to live my own life

Just want to say I dislike

To suffocate in a tie

And if everything deserves time

It's not said this time must be mine

We will not run races

You made up just to keep us busy

We are impressed by what you call achievement

We will not climb mountains

You made up to give us a purpose

We won't sweat as you grow fat

We'll say no for a change (For once, I'll say no.)
