Why do we take so much for granted

In the end we’ll long again for better days

One heart’s undone, one setting sun

In the end we’ll meet again in brighter days

I never thought it would end this way

With my angel ripped away

One gifted from the golden gates

To ease your suffering

It’s just a moment’s end

It’s not the only end

You’re not the only one

Who grieves a setting sun

Takin’ your mind to relive all the times

In the warmth of all divine

Memory will always stay

In the meadow of love’s sweet escape

Your oldest friend has met their end

But in your heart you know that they will live again

The stars align for a deprive

But in the end we all must cross that bridge some day

I never thought it would end so soon

You were the light in my darkest days

The wings of angels call for you

To end your suffering

It’s just a moment’s end

It’s not the only end

You’re not the only one

Who grieves a setting sun

Takin’ your mind to relive all the times

In the warmth of all divine

Memory will always stay

In the meadow of love’s sweet escape

What more could I have done

What else can I do

To stop my heart from breaking

While your soul is taken

If heaven needs an angel

Oh lord I won’t stand in your way

Oh god release me from this pain

I’m drowning in my rain

But only love can cut ever so deep

Your heart paints my grey

Why do we take so much for granted

In the end we’ll long again for better days

One heart’s undone, one setting sun

In the end we’ll meet again in brighter days

(We’ll meet again in brighter days)

It’s not the end I’ll see you friend some other day

We’ll meet again in brighter days
