I'm not going, put aside those actions

I'm not going, put aside them words

I'm not going, put aside all distractions

I'm not going, cause words are only words...

It’s the first day of school, on a beautiful Monday morning

I'm sitting outside class, watching the rain pouring

Group of guys came up to me, must’ve found it boring

Pushed me aside, and sent my stuff soaring

I went to get my pen; they pushed me to the ground

I tried to get back up, yet they pushed me back down

As I walked off, they were laughing really loud

And I spent my first day, without making a sound

Were in class now, and the noise is like a riot

I step outside, to try and get some peace and quiet

He followed me outside; he knew I won’t fight-it

We were in school, I thought no way he’d try-it

He looks at me, and asks “whatcha doing here?”

I stare him in the eyes, shit myself out of fear

“I've got nothing against you, don’t get the wrong idea”

He seemed real calm, and was acting sincere

So I turned and he struck me, for the world to see

I started to cry, and what wants to be can be

And I wept and wished, that my tears would set me free

Yet the air condensed, and I found it hard to breathe

So I ran off in the distance, and tried to catch some air

I didn’t do anything wrong, it just didn’t seem fair

I looked at my uniform, and saw tear after tear

And saw deceiving eyes, as the school began to stare

I don’t understand why, we’re from the same nation

Yet my confidence is sinking, under disintegration

I gotta warn you something, see it from observation

This is my home, this is my destination

I'm not going, put aside those actions

I'm not going, put aside them words

I'm not going, put aside all distractions

I'm not going, cause words are only words...

It keeps going and going, and this shit don’t stop

You’ve taken book after book, and broken lock after lock

And every time you walk past, you taunt me “what's up?”

But I've finally had enough, and I don’t give a fuck!

I yell at you, and you mock me some more

I've got nothing to lose; you've got it all to fight for

I remember that hit, the first day it was sore

So I snap and decide, to call you girlfriend a whore

My bad!

I got the worse beating I ever had

And you’d think that beating, would’ve made me mad

But instead it just shut me up, and made me sad

As brutal as it sounds, and after the verbal torture

You’d think I’d give it up, and forget about the future

But the concept of me, being more mature

Is stuck in my head, preventing the world from being any bluer

And I don’t know what to do, so I pick up a pen and write a song

It takes me to a place, where I feel I belong

And the more I write, the more it doesn’t seem wrong

In fact it gives me confidence, and makes me feel strong

Yet my brains not functioning, it doesn’t feel right

Because this is Mr. Perfect, he don’t run from a fight

So I toss out the papers, and turn on the lights

And begin to do some training, to work on my might

I show up at school, and I'm ready to go

I'm a different person, and that's what I’ll show

He don’t want any part of me, as he's screaming no

But I don’t give it fuck, cause I'm as low as I’ll go

So I swing, I hit, and I make the kid bleed

He's screaming in pain, and that's what I need

My angers satisfied, there's no need to feed

So I go home, ask forgiveness, and pray my creed

I was once told, forgive and forget

But that's not what happens, feelings don’t just jet

I believe in one thing, forgive don’t forget

The best way to live life, is without any threats

So I don’t make threats, cause we’re from the same nation

And it puts me lower, and creates disintegration

I tried to warn you, but you got more than observation

This is my home, my new destination

I'm not going, put aside those actions

I'm not going, put aside them words

I'm not going, put aside all distractions

I'm not going, cause words are only words...
