Melting rocks with words drowning this happy hour

Telling others to wait counting change on the counter

Smurfing in the streets the yokels hoot and holler

Tied my thoughts to a balloon string during thunder shower

Brain storming the angered clouds grow louder

Their electric veins pulsate and my mind dances on the wire

No longer lingering

Swinging on satellites

Another fever dream on a midsummer night

Blue moon walking pulling up daisies

In the midnight sun the horizons never shady

Sleeping on stairs to keep my head up off the floor

Waiting for the sun to rise up and spread the warmth

Patience is a virtue best served cold

Let it be know

Life always pays in full

Wheres my earn will be written on my tombstone

Your surroundings a reflection of your soul

Buried in the Earth uncountable black holes

Our universe is parallel Im peering through the veil

No longer lingering

Swinging on satellites

Another fever dream on a midsummer night

Blue moon walking pulling up daisies

In the midnight sun the horizons never shady

Wake up to shed yesterdays dead skin

Slide on my chameleon suit but never fit in

Not quite lost in the crowd with no-one trying to find me

I hear a voice whisper you’re not alone

Don’t remind me

Caught in a constant rewind

Questioning the linear movement of time

Memories feel like reading a strangers diary

But I know that for one moment

This moment was mine

No longer lingering

Swinging on satellites

Another fever dream on a midsummer night

Blue moon walking pulling up daisies

In the midnight sun the horizons never shady

Turning on a dime

Deciding instead to pour wine and break bread

Holding on to my hypothalamus as I try to clear my flooded head

Wondering if your gears are still turning

Is that house from your childhood still burning

Did you stop teaching or did I just stop learning

Still mourning

Ghouls in the cemetery tend to misbehave

Upset since the day I danced my two left feet out of the grave

No longer lingering

Swinging on satellites

Another fever dream on a midsummer night

Blue moon walking pulling up daisies

In the midnight sun the horizons never shady
