I stare at florals on the wallpaper, imagine people dancing wild and free
But they're trapped in the wallpaper, in this room with me
You tell me that I am fine but I am restless in the night
I spin in circles until daylight and even with heavy eyes sleep is no friend of mine
But the florals keep me company and on they dance so tirelessly
But I am tired for them and for me
I turned my head to the bedside, a pot flowers that had died was left to wane through summer days and next to me as I decayed
But time is of the essence, friend. I've no heart left to pretend that this is not the end
