My beds warm again, It’s like home to me, I’m taking this in

Like a fetus growing slow

Feel my arms attach to my body

And my eyes begging loud to explode

My ribs form, so strong, and tightly

But I develop far from the norm

One part of me is tugging on, so harshly

I’m begging keep me in this womb, in this body

In fact, I'm not demanding, no, I’m asking politely

Splitbirth

I’m alive, small size, but I’m fine

Burn my retinas from one side to the other side

I think it’s normal not to feel alright

Splitbirth

Cold wind in the summer time

From the doctors office to my own room, that is mine

My crib is warm, yet there's tears in my eyes

I feel safe in your home

The same way as my clothes fit on my body, and

Cover up my ribs and holes, It’s cold

Umbilical cord, holds two souls

And one is split to be another controlled

Talking often keeps me sane, so

Why break the connection, and split it down either way?

“What’s alluding to this plethora of ways?” yea, okay

That’s how it is and how it has to stay

Split, Split, Splitbirth

I’m alive, small size, but I'm fine

Burn my retinas from one side to the other side

I think it’s normal not to feel alright

Splitbirth

Cold wind in the summer time

From the doctors office to my own room, that is mine

My crib is warm, yet there's tears in my eyes
