I'm telling myself to push

I know what the Lord can do

The holy spirit helps so we can do

What we're called to do

He wants to walk with you

Road is narrow and tough

And I'm enduring through

That's what we ought to do

The Lord is more than able to finish the work he started

The road ain't easy, but my God has power to keep you planted

In the hardest darkest night

His word is a shining light

Devil wants you to fall away, Leave and depart him

I'm a self detective

Examine myself Introspective

Word is preached can't be defensive

Words reflective

Shows my sin

Shows I'm defective

And I need my king

Jesus Christ

Thank God that his blood’s effective

I've taken slips

Meant to rise, but I've taken dips

I know my God forgives

Father loves his Kids

There's no one else in the world that can take my life and fix

So I gotta endure amour of God my Lord equips

Can't chase sin and pleasure

Or that worldly treasure

This walk with Christ is tough but it's overtly better

Rather suffer persecution than that sinful leisure

Sun rain and snow gotta serve in every weather

So I turn that page

Hebrews when I build my faith

Gotta learn to wait

Satan want to hand out bait

Please my God with faith

I trust in him everyday

Lord guide my steps

I trust you in every way

Help me seek you more

Wanna be obedient

Help me to heed you more

Your word builds me

Help me to read it more

I know your Gospel’s true

Help me to preach it more
