Verse 1:

Existential Visions of the Man that I might have been if I hadn't started smoking...

Never got to meet my brother and to this day I wonder what he would have to say about my Moleskin

Mulling over my preconceived notions of the motion of Poetry's got me Zoned in

I had to quit Toking to Exfoliate my Focus

Keep my Friends close

But I keep my Foes closer

And my role models the Closest

Said I quit smoking

But I still smoke

Said I'd never hit it again

But I'd still poke

Got yellow's mourning (morning)

Whites cracking up like Egg Yolk

Plus my black friends like

"Yo my boy's dirty as gay throat."

I made an oath to stay afloat when I face my quotes

Never let the taste of those hating impede my Patient Growth

My greatest Fear's this very album

That or disappointing the descendents of Malcom

Tell me the Outcome?

(Or tell me how come...)

Verse 2:

So this is for my Sister and her Tutor

Who thinks that she needs an Adderal to keep up with her Schoolwork

For the future of the Freestyle Club

And the producers

Grinding behind the scenes while grinding green in their Buglers (Smoke!)

These rumors have me Buggin' Out like Fyfe

Hey Preacher man, Can't I live my life?

I'm only going to say this once

I won't say that twice

Cuz by the time I sober up

I'mma forget last night

(Get it Right)
