Despite our pleas

Trapped in this void we remain

Another day the same

All of the lies that we speak

Have been transcribed for the meek

This fallacy we call our lives

Sadly somehow now coincides

The emptiness that we all feel

Endless craving is real

Jealous pangs emotional guilts

An internal dialogue repeatedly seems to takes suit

Why do we all cause ourselves pain

When they are the only ones who will gain

Targeted and presented

Relentless dopamine drip

If only we disconnected

Theses sordid emotions

Would have been just the tip

This vortex has consumed us all

Caged within our man made hell

A desolation known so well

We jump on trends in pursuit of belonging

But nothing satiates our voracious longing

The need for more to be loved and adored

Our obsessive desire

To be worshiped revered

By like minded thieves and liars

Embrace the nihility

The downward spiral which ensnares us

Shut the door and threw away the key

Beg and cry if we must

We'll never be set free

We are the tortured ones

The end is sadly nowhere in sight

They do not care about our endless plight

They will drag us ever deeper down below

Deepest depths of our sorrow

Nobody cares about us since

Since we all die in the end

The chains placed around our wrists

Have been self implemented

No matter how we try
