They locked the doors when the lights went out

They burned the files, erased my name

But every night at three am

The walls remember my pain

I wake up strapped to a bed that's rusted

Cold white room, but the paint is corrupted

Numbers on my wrist, I forgot my face

A ghost in a body they couldn't replace

The hallway breathes when I walk alone

Every broken tile knows my bones

Pictures on the wall with the eyes scratched out

But I hear them whisper when there's no sound

Nurses disappeared, doctors went insane

Still hear their footsteps dancing in the rain

Medication bottles on the floor like graves

I'm the only patient that they couldn't save

Is this my memory?

Or is this the place inside of me?

I keep searching for the exit sign

But every door leads back to mine

I'm still here in ward thirteen

Where the dead still talk to me

They took my name, they took my mind

But they couldn't take what's left inside

I'm still here, can't break free

They buried the truth underneath me

If you hear my voice through the walls tonight

Don't open the door

Don't turn on the light

I counted every crack in the ceiling above

Every scream became something I loved

When you lose your mind piece by piece

Even the monsters start looking like peace

My reflection moved when I stood still

Smiling back with a stranger's will

He said"You never left this place"

"You died here years ago, you forgot your face"

I found my file in a room downstairs

Dust on the pages, blood everywhere

Date of admission, written in red

The same day they declared me dead

Don't call my family

Don't tell them I'm alive

The thing wearing my skin

Is not the man who survived

Tear down the walls

Let me out

I've been screaming

Without a mouth

They locked my soul

Inside these halls

I am the shadow

Behind your walls

I'm still here in ward thirteen

A lost reminder of what I've been

The lights go out, the voices rise

Another patient never dies

I'm still here, can't break free

This hospital is part of me

When you hear knocks from room fourteen

Remember

I'm still here
