[Verse 1]

If you ain’t know my name I’m bout to make you remember

Been stuffing lyrics in pockets back since the month of December

Go search the record I’ve rendered you’ll never find a pretender

I spit the bibles like rifles, behind my bars an offender

Oh, I neglected to mention it but my name is Control

The definition: a perfectionist engaged in his role

That’s redirecting his destiny, to collect every goal

So you’ll be getting my best compressing a diamond from coal

To keep it pretty simple for you I possess a direction

An intervention of lessons, that resurrects all your stressing

You’ve never met a competitor with the effort I’m pressing

I never get a second breath until I’m blessed with progression

[Hook]

2016 was the year it all began, now becoming the greatest was all a part of the plan

I was born with that ability, the talent to rap

Thats keeping all of you nodding when Im attacking a track, uh

[Verse 2]

I set the stage so I estimate, you investigate when you press the play

So I guess the way that I best display my inner thoughts is that pen to page

Man I ain’t gonna get rest no today, til I find that place to repress the pain

Gonna get that rep when I end the day, then I build my skill to collect that pay

I’ll take it back to the basics, put you in awkward positions like Morpheus in the Matrix

I’m patient, but not complacent, pick up a pen and I trace it

Displacing acres of paper, until the day that I make it

So face it, I’m working hard, to take some care with decisions

Because that road to success is often prone to collisions

I still got plenty of tests, but that’s the price of ambition

Determined to be a legend with every night that I’m living

So the day I leave this life I wanna be known as Control

No more no less no plat no gold

Just a man with a message who would never miss the goal

Creating stories for the people that they wanted to be told

[Verse 3]

I pick the pace up, track eraser, smack a faker, the rap invader

Got a massive flavour, to assassinate the, whole god damn crowd then I catch ya later

Your rap skills, they’re not quite there, but when you’re stepping to me I’m the white nightmare

You couldn’t catch me if I stand right there, with a back to the wall and a vice on my hand

So, I got a question for ya, What you really rapping for?

To spit about some drug abuse and throw your cash out on the floor?

People think that popping pills entitles you to some respect

But if you stick to percocets, addictions don’t end in a cheque

But yeah, no one cares, you just collect and forget it

How many artist overdoses does it take to regret it?

We keep on losing all these people, getting sent to the medics

But you just use the drug abuse to go collect you some credit

So fuck it

The day that you become irrelevant’s a blessing

I put faith in every step when I fall I am never stressing

I see you sending shots, like you’re gripping a Smith and Wesson

But I doubt you got the stock so you’d best get into investing

I’ll just keep perfecting all my music till I gain appeal

And Break the opposition if they want some extra pain to feel

When all these other rappers keep on looking for a trait to steal

I simply treat the track just like I’m making up a basic meal

A pinch of some kicks, and a tablespoon of the bass

A couples cups of my verses, and extra claps to be safe

Then Season it with some samples, to give a spicier taste

And then that beat’ll be eaten straight off the top of my plate
