Who's horizon is it that we watch from humble homes?

Who decides the visitation rights we adhere when we go on?

My leather belt is torn

A notch for every year I dodge the draft of war

Notes from above, we see our love from other shores

What airfare do we afford

And is this story told by any other name

When violence is the only ecstasy we claim?

My blood and sweat as trophy, not as pain

Replace the savior, shade, that narrative is drained

Wе shear the sheep and sell thе wool to buy our fame

And laugh at innocence, that myth again

Instead of home, we roll, our teeth are velvet stained

This camaraderie? We strive just to pretend

We don't wanna see it end
