On my way to journey's end

Passengers in dilation state

Halfway there I'm awakened

Nurtured by machines

Dreaming of what I used to be

And time is slipping away from me

Decades ago

Light-years away

I did what I could

To get away

From the madness of it

So I put myself to sleep

Now I'm half awake

Halfway gone

And I cannot shake the feeling

That I'm not here alone

There is something strange going on

And I remember her clearly

I even copied her personality

Loved her dearly

But she couldn't run away with me

All the way out here

Where the distance is astronomical

Time is slipping away from me
