Reach for the spiders

And crawl through the weeds

Question the apples

And watch for sunflower wild man

Ride into a jungle

Of sunflower stalks

That stretch up like children

And claw at the wildflower sun

Off to the kitchen

And sneak through the back

Don't let him hear you

He hides in the cracks of dementia

No one can catch the disease

Of the sunflower wild man

No one listens or cares

Or expects or concedes

No one connects with thе call

Of all-consuming restlessness

At all

Wait for thе time of one hundred degrees

Crawl through the windows

And land on your knees

It's the risk

Don't eat the cherries

From Oscular's tree

Filled with green larvae

As they simply wouldn't agree

Race for a pause

To the greatest lost cause

If we not see

Dreaming a vortex of horses

On speckled wall number three

Listen with me to sunflower wild man

Listen with me to sunflower wild man

Listen with me to sunflower wild man
