[Verse 1]

Yuh, a story 'bout a Buffalo queen

My first words, "I’ll be a legend"

I was younger than three

But I remember sitting in Jordan gardens with Quis

And we talked about and cried about our struggles and dreams

Both dealin' with family problems, parents runnin' these streets

I was partying, going out, gettin' drunk as a teen

Nobody knew the struggles I grieved

As young as a teen

With anger problems, punchin' the walls 'till my knuckles would bleed

This one time I ran away, 'cause I was stressed at my moms

Emotions, tryna express it was hard

I remember she was pregnant and we fought, that night I slept in my car

Months later, pops got locked and that left me in charge

Rewind it back when I was still livin' in Buff

Was fourteen with my only best friend that I trust

Then I moved to the falls, but we still was in touch

Then I got a call, they told me she got killed by a chump

That fucked me up, yo

[Verse 2]

Rest In Peace to my cousin, Jawaan

My friend Nancy

My grandma Janet

They huggin', on God

Make sure they name live on through my voice

Things I do for my fam, I gotta do with no choice

'Cause look

It’s more shit, 'cause it’s pressure they puttin' me through

My mom a single parent, both my sisters need money for school

So now, I gotta be the one to make a livin' for them

I get a chequs, take a percentage, then give it to them

Plus, my auntie got cancer, I hate to see her like that

When I blow, it hurt to know she might not be here for that

Reunited with my dad, I sat across from at the table

25 years, it felt like I was talkin' to a stranger

Snakes in the crew ain’t searching the grass

Crossed by some people

I would’ve gave the shirt off my back

But I never let my losses determine my path

Even though some losses that I took, it’s gon' hurt to get past
