[Verse 1]

I just want to take a minute, take some time off, sit back

After I got the message that I had to rewind back

Clutch my bag like I was under attack

I stormed out of my class, and ran through the hallways

To get my bicycle, I thought I was always

Prepared for situations like this

But alas, you might never know until

The real important things hit

Storming through the city trying to not hit the cars as I was gasping for breath

I gotta confess the thoughts never left I felt it deep in my chest

Though I alone was making moves like a broken game of chess

But I guess some wishes can come through, I was building up tears

So I pushed through and my strength persevered

I crashed through the door of the clinic and through the door of your room

Your mother already sat there consuming

The news of a mental case who murdered his wife

And tried to hang himself just Saturday Night

But it doesn't matter, it doesn't

Because our hopes came through, just a dozen years gone

And it looks like you are waking up

We can't believe it, we started shaking as it seemed like your eyelids were moving up

[Verse 2

Why can't I move at all?

That was my first question after I opened my eyes, what I saw left an impression

Why do you look so old?

I felt some aggressions that were calmed down by the succession of happenings

My mother and Donald were crying, then they explained why

As I looked at them with an aura of silence

The woman was still in my mind

Was it true what happened? And why did she smile?

Then I saw his face on the television

It was the same face that I saw in my vision

And I got scared a little, it seemed true

And what could I do now?

[Outro]

There was a long way in front of me

But I was happy because at least I was reunited with my family and friends

Was my father still an alcoholic?

I hope not

Donald must have a lot to tell me
