Living in the basement age

Ancient stained beige carpet days

Musty, dusty boxes of archaic outdated stuff

Under the glow of the textured yellow window

Rotten piss, give me a fit, jumping out my skin

Nervous clay figures, jittering around the corners

Yesteryear's dull ball, waning, two dimensional

Pull back the tape as the mouldy cardboard tears and frays

Pull out a tape, putrescent trace of the sub-creep way

Disturbed by events

A retrospect descent

So this is where life lead

Try crawling for the stairs

Entrapped but unaware

Hanging in an antique frame, dead

Greasy, fetid cave

Mildew covered, jaundiced ashtray

Relics lay pathetic

Forgotten hallucinogenics

Carapace of puke and excremement

Fermented by time

Armour from the truth

Protected by it's filth

Redundant shrine

Revel in the sublevels unseen, can't hurt me

Hatred in the basement hidden deep, where you won't find me
