A theme in this verse seems to be the narrator’s static, indifferent outlook; asking questions and looking deeper at situations isn’t worth the effort to someone with this perspective when the lie presented is thorough or tough to unravel.
Mike is talking about his inability on playing fighting games on consoles. We know that OME is a qualified old school shooter gamer, though.
The second line of each of Serengeti’s verses in the song expand on financial trouble or irresponsibility; like the “bagel,” “table,” “Sable,” and “mattress,” he changes the context for this train of thought in each verse as well.
