When I was a boy, I had a book in my eye

Good head on my shoulders, but a thorn in my side

I had it all figured out ,until I turned 16

I gathered my thoughts, and walked out the door

I said bye to my mother, I didn’t need her anymore

I was full of dreams and sweet ketamine

When I left

I had highs, I had lows

I didn’t try anymore

I grew out my hair and lied to them all

I lived for the ups, but I’d die for the lows

Singing I never wanna grow old

Hello old friend, it’s good to see you again

It’s been so long since we first met

I’d love to say that things haven’t changed

But you’ve moved on and I’m still…

Lost in Neverland

But I’m no Peter Pan

Well now I’m a poet, with a pen in my hand

Just another lost boy trying hard to understand

Why the kid in the mirror’s got a beard

And a fear of his watch

I tried asking the stars how they lived in the dark

They told me it’s easy when you know who you are

Well how do you do?

I’m the boy that you thought you once knew

I have highs, I have lows

I miss flying back home

I love all my friends, but I hate when they go

I tried growing up, but it just wouldn’t work

Singing I never wanna grow old

Hello old friend, it’s good to see you again

It’s been so long since we first met

I’d love to say that things haven’t changed

But you’ve moved on and I’m still…

Hello old friend, it’s good to see you again

Lost in Neverland

But I’m no Peter Pan
