First night under violet glass
I moved slow, let strangers pass
Every room was heat and smoke
Every smile already broke
Bodies blurred in liquid blue
Borrowed hands, somebody new
I said yes to things I feared
Just to feel that I was here
Then his voice came soft and low
"Leo, there are deeper floors"
I should've gone
I wanted more
Red clubs, slow skin, chemical air
Mouths on mine that weren't quite there
Every touch lit up too fast
Every high dissolved to black
Somewhere in the mirrored haze
The Owner watched me lose my shape
Each new door, each new sin
Felt less like lust, more like a wish
A wish for blood
A wish for pain
A wish to want
Something that stays
Tell me what a heartbeat costs
Tell me what these rooms forgot
I've been touched a thousand ways
And still wake up feeling blank
If I break enough tonight
Will something human start to rise?
He says, "Leo, don't look back"
But I came here to find what I lack
