[Opening Monologue: Joel Osteen]

Nothing happens by accident,

God is directing every one of our steps

That means if a friend does us wrong,

If we go through a setback,

If we lose a loved one,

We can either embrace that change

And God will use it to take us higher,

Or we can resist it and we'll end up getting stagnant

[Chorus: Captain Ash]

I watch my life fade,

See slowly I migrate,

Teen life chapters all melting away,

I know I will return,

And some things may have changеd,

If some things stays the same,

It's mеant to be always

[Verse: Captain Ash]

How many beats can I make until I write a full song,

How many songs can I write until you all sing along,

How many songs will I sing until I get my first hit

How many hits can I take until I finally fall

See my life is just wrong

Don’t know where I belong

Feels like I'm stuck in loop

Of where my writing is wrong

Copying from other songs

Just not being myself,

Not caring for my own health,

See I'm just thinking of wealth

Cause in the future

I know that nobody paying my rent

But just me and myself

But when I get that wealth

I notice I'm still alone

No one calling my phone

Someone call frank and tell him

To bring back sierra Leone

Maybe time will tell

Why do I feel like hell

My emotions are floating

All you niggas are joking

But see you can't laugh well,

Because your lungs bad from smoking

Fights I fought are not physical

Yeah I know I'm not lyrical

But my knowledge is biblical

Always depending on God

To help me perform a miracle

All these situations been in,

I find it very difficult

It takes minimal spiritual critical moments

To help me decide if I'm winning

All my wrongs what I'm binning

Turn to the light no more sinning

Made my path on my own

I know it's cold and alone

One day I'll find the place I fit in and know I belong

For now I'll continue move forward in the hope that I grow

AYO

[Chorus: Captain Ash & Jess Hobs]

I watch my life fade,

See slowly I migrate,

Teen life chapters all melting away,

I know I will return,

And some things may have changed,

If some things stay the same,

It's meant to be always

I watch my life fade,

See slowly I migrate,

Teen life chapters all melting away,

I know I will return,

And some things may have changed,

If some things stay the same,

It's meant to be always

I watch my life fade, (always, be always)

See slowly I migrate,

Teen life chapters all melting away, (be always, be always)

I know I will return, (always, be always)

And some things may have changed,

If some things stay the same,

It's meant to be always

[Closing Monologue: Joel Osteen]

I wanna talk to you today about embracing change. One thing is certain, change is inevitable. People change, jobs change, styles change even seasons change. And God has designed us to need change but so many people fight it.

They hold on to the old because they're familiar. It's what they're used to; they're comfortable

If were not careful, we'll get suck in a rut to where were not growing, were not stretching, not using the potential on the inside. That's one reason God sends change, he won't allow us to stay stuck

And sometimes, the very things that we fight against, the very things we that we think are trying to pull us down is actually the hand of God trying to push us into a new season
