If I showed you all of the flaws that I’ve hidden deep

Would you love me still or just want to break free?

Far from my sickness and my disease

Would I be wretched? Or maybe redemption is

Within my grasp? Our hands together clasped

So selfishly I ask

Please don’t let me go

God only knows

I’m dying alone

I’m holding on to my trauma like

Stone, grip worn to bone

It drags me below

I lost myself in the undertow

Focused on my failures (hidden deep)

Hammering the nails (wanna break free)

Craft my own casket with miseries past

Whеn can I break free?

Be who you see in me

Plеase don’t let me go

God only knows

I’m dying alone

I’m holding on to my trauma like

Stone, grip worn to bone

It drags me below

Will I stay bound to the sorrow I’ve sown?

Savor the woe

Til everyone’s gone?

I saw your hand in the blue, my heart slowed

Could it be so?

You won’t let go?

Revealing every piece

I laid bare to you all of my ugliness, the shame, and the grief

How it flees swiftly, fleeting, happiness makes way for the misery

I think I’ll always be a little incomplete

But I’m stitching gaps

And you help me with the seams

Please don’t let me go

God only knows

I’m dying alone

I’m holding on to my trauma like

Stone, grip worn to bone

It drags me below

I lost myself in the undertow

No

God only knows

I’m dying to grow

To drop the stone and hold on to the

Glow, to warm my bones

Ignite and awoke

So I could shine through this undertow

I saw your hand in the blue my heart slowed

And so I know

That I can shine through this undertow
