[Intro]

Yeah, real talk, I'll wreck these stages, yeah, haha

[Verse 1]

Yeah, a lot of us struggle, they dont really wanna

But their souls are troubled, they just really wanna find

Peace and love or maybe they're like me

And wanna stay in their rut

No, I made this album for a reason

Reflection is the only way to see your freedom

You gotta fight this pain, the one and true healing

CALICO wanted to be freed, so, they freed him

I went to so many people for advice, they told mе how to live life

But they wеre depressed themselves, you can't even sell

The bad thoughts it dwells, words can't explain what feels like hell

Or maybe they can, pain, suffering, death, and no lifespan

That's what my mind felt like, two years ago

But now I'm back and ready to help the people at Death Row

With suicidal thoughts, you want them to smile everyday

And pretend that their pain is no more, what are you looking for?

Yeah, what are you looking for?

You want them to smile? You want them to laugh?

Then you find out that they put on a mask and then you get mad

You really don't understand, you do not understand, no

I have seen so many kids slitting their wrists

What do you want from them, huh? A smile? A laugh?

They do not want to exist, no, some of them have come up to me

Begging for help, this society has ruined these kids

You're making them feel like hell

I was one of these kids, I was one of these kids

Thinking I should never exist, just crying and suffering

And thinking that I will never fit in

Tese thoughts come in the millions, thinking they will always be alone

I want this nation of people to listen to this 'cause this will hit home

I've been through the mud, don't get me started

I've hated and waited and prayed for a day

Where I planned to be departed, if you get what I mean

But don't be disheartened, I ain't the type to be quiet

I do not care what they think, I do not fear in the silence

I fear in the nothing, I just got God with me, I will never be quiet, no

I found a purpose and that was my music

Money? Fame? Girls? It's so stupid

I write for the people who say their excluded

My name will help and motivate the included

Chas West is my name, I will make it known

I promised myself, now it's written in stone

I'll never forget when I was down and so low

I'll rise again, no respect for low blows

Our minds are so different, overthink at the slightest

Things people say, it's not fun, not the brightest

But most of the time we are always the wisest

One step ahead, our brains are just the ripest

We know when they're lying, we know when they're fake

We know 'cause our brains are just always awake

"You're a mistake, you're a mistake"

That's what we think on the daily, not great

Tears in their eyes as they're crying

It hurts to watch, it hurts to see with no help

But that's exactly what I went through

When they said they won't be any help

That's what they said, that's what they said

I was completely alone for one year, too scared to say anything

So, I just put on my mask and wiped all my tears

"You're not a mistake, you're here for a reason"

"I know that I can't convince you, I know that I can't convince you"

But God gave me a gift and I'm ready to speak it

I beat the fear, I beat the fear, I stabbed it and jabbed it

My hand is now bleeding, I'll fight for you guys, I'll fight for you guys

I'll take this crowd from seeing to believing

"You're not alone, you're not alone"

These are more than just words, these are more than just words

This is why I made CALICO, this is why I made CALICO

Ya hear me? I said, "Do you hear me?"

[Outro]

Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Do you hear me? No, you don't

Yeah, I do, no

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
