Reflections

Verse 1:

"Life is best spent when you're living to give

Are you living to die or are you dying to live?

Talking to the mirror tryin'  to listen to my vision

And understand I'm looking at my only competition

Satan is on his job with the constant proposition

I know the cost of the loss, I hold my position

Was washed by the blood

Born in tradition, an accurate description

Orthodox religion

Follow intuition when it's spirit felt

And put a trust in it like inherited wealth

Just a few things to consider myself

Life is what you make it, just believe in yourself."

Break:

"Ya that's cool and everything but what they really wanna hear is that street talk.... you gotta keep it street mayne... well tell your story then"

Verse 2:

"Fortunate I grew up under fixtures and stone pillars

Walking past dealers where the pimps be gorillas

City of Dope to find hope as a youth

Soul be bulletproof but it be bearing some fruit

Now here's your moment of truth

Cause ain't no time like the present

Like celebrating Christmas, January 7th

Conducting the business, completely independent

As God is my witness, I've been the defendant

Trials and tribulations of an Amricani ("American" in Arabic)

First generation childhood was uncanny

Most important things in life are God and family

Can't put value on money cause it's satisfactory

(now check it, check it, check it)

Off your bucket list, cause in life there's more to this

Than trying to get rich

Family is King, number one thing, under God

Heavy is the crown with the world in His palms

My ambition for dreams

By any means I cannot let go

Survived the extremes

Despite the schemes of the devil

Let the dust settle

Nah breh I keeps in motion

If premature death throw my dreams into the ocean

I'm living my life in the belief that it's spoken

Coming from a place where the curb side is broken

You can see every kind of face with an emotion

There's something really special bout Oakland

There's beauty in the struggle

Putting pieces to the puzzle

In the mist of the jungle

Dedicated to the hustle

Hustle

Hustle

I pray to stay humble

Knowing that anytime my empire could crumble

That this world cannot love you

It's satan's playground and only God can judge you

Born by the blood that my Savior bled

Who gives us this day our daily bread

Amen."
