Blinded by words on a page, as you wither away

Adoring the idea of preservation, to be saved

There is no salvage, there is no saving grace

You're not the judge of this world

Hang your head in shame

In a dying world, there’s no merciful one to protect you

When I look in your eyes, I see a life with no purpose

Living as a puppet, pulled by the strings of your own subconsciousness

Foreshadowed by the prophets deceptions

Absorption from sin

You will never be saved

Corruption has taken its place

As heaven above

Or as hell down below

Your body will fade away

You will fall to your knees

And look up to the sky

To pray for an answer

That will never come

You will be left unknowing

And was it worth it?

Devoting your life

To a promised land that was never there?

Wasted time, believing in lies

You will die a life without God by your side

A life of fiction and disease
