Faster winds blow

Helmsman paid to know

Years away from home

Night chills to the bone

Been a lifetime of sailing and fighting

Took all you had with fists and with steel

Search a lifetime for lands that aren't real

Waiting day after day for land's sighting

Slowly oars pull

Stomach's never full

Chasing day light

Stars guide through the night

When the shoreline is seen in the distance

You'll never forget where you started

It's the first time the land has been charted

And the unknown is filled with resistance
