[Spoken Word: Robert Ontenient]
This translates to:
I don’t want to drink water today
I don’t want to walk through the neighborhood and see how perfect the world is
I don’t want to talk to anyone
I just want to stand in front of my house and see how it sinks in my flames
I wish I could ask my friends to get out
I wish I could have saved them, one by one
But everything is gone
I often ask myself if I am the next one
Summer, I’m sorry.
Here, Robert Ontenient expresses a recluse-like nature. He doesn’t want to enjoy the outside world, but would rather sit and watch his own internal world collapse. Though he wishes he could’ve saved his friends from a similar fate, he realizes that it was too late.
This skit could also be in reference to BROCKHAMPTON’s 22-minute Billy Star visual where reoccurring character Helmet Boy and his boyfriend, Summer, eventually end up blowing themselves up in cars on a field due to the fear of their sexuality.
